Thank you for your interest in Our Lady of Malibu School! Two basic principles guide us through each admissions process. The first stems from the nature of our school, that of being affiliated with college preparatory high schools offering a rigorous academic curriculum. We want you to feel confident that every student admitted can enjoy academic success.


The second principle relates to attracting and securing a diverse student body. Our Lady of Malibu School is committed to enrolling students with a wide range of backgrounds, learning styles, interest, talents and personalities.


Admission is far from an exact science. We carefully evaluate each application.  Unfortunately, we are not in the position to accept every qualified student. In many instances our decisions are influenced by the limited number of students that we are able to admit, and are not a direct reflection of the personal and academic qualifications of the applicant.


Applications for 2014-2015 can now be completed online.

Application Process

Complete an online application for each child.  Admissions for Grades K – 8 is on a rolling basis as space permits.

 

1.  Attend a campus tour and interview with our principal. For more information contact our Admissions Assistant, Karen Medrano at 310.456.8071.

 

2.  Complete the online Admissions Application by clicking here{www.olmalibuschool.org/admissions/online-application}

 

3.  Please mail the school the following items:

    • Copy of Birth Certificate
    • Copy of Baptismal Certificate (Catholic Students)
    • Copy of immunization records
    • Copy of most recent report card

 

These items must be submitted to:

4.  Student Visitation and Assessment Day (Shadow Day)

After we have processed your completed application, we will contact you via email to arrange a date.

 

5.  Distribute the Academic Character Reference to your current school.  This form is confidential and should be returned to Our Lady of Malibu School.

 

Decision letters mailed upon acceptance.  Parents must reply in order to reserve a space in the class.

 

Communications:  We ask parents to please provide a reliable email address that is checked by you frequently, as email has proven to be an incredible resource that is both a quick and efficient way to answer your questions, and to send confirmations and reminder notices throughout the admissions process.  Should your email address change, please be sure to inform Karen so that we may update your file 310.456.8071, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
